Johnson Concrete Products has been manufacturing handmade, precast concrete treads for Portland clients for more than 30 years. Our made-to-order concrete steps are reinforced and available in different configurations and sizes. They are easy to install and come in either weld-on or bolt-on options (each bolt-on tread includes lag and hex bolts).

Open Riser
Open riser stair treads are a modern approach for both indoors and outdoors in homes, apartments, and businesses. Open risers create an airy and open atmosphere that brings natural light into a space and makes it feel larger while allowing sightlines that are otherwise blocked.
We offer several sizes, as detailed above.
Closed or Half Riser
Closed riser stair treads allow you to use the space below as storage and hide unwanted features. They look substantial, elegant and sleek. Our closed riser concrete treads are functional, manufactured to spec and code, and succeed in realizing your architectural and aesthetic objectives.
Treads are 12” wide and 2” thick with a 4" or 6 3/4" drop.
Butterfly or Cantilever
Butterfly or cantilever stair treads create an amazing weightless, floating, and unsupported illusion, these stairs indeed add to the beauty of your décor in no time. Installation is designed to be simple. Treads are attached to a single stringer by a 4” x 6” weld-on plate.
Tread Sizing
Butterflies are 12” wide and 42" or 44” in length.
